New ‘Legends of Arabia’ itineraries for 2018/19
From humble roots as a coach tour operator, Pullmantur has grown from strength to strength. To cut a long story short, the tour company now consists of a fleet of four cruise ships – each offering plenty of modern amenities and a contemporary feel. These ships provide the perfect base upon which to fully appreciate some of the world’s most beautiful regions including the Caribbean and the Mediterranean. But wherever you decide to travel, you will be able to enjoy a unique all-inclusive cruise experience that has become a synonymous factor with Pullmantur.
Last week, the line made an exciting announcement that outlined a new region for holiday-makers to enjoy. For the first time, cruisers sailing with Pullmantur will be able to enjoy all-inclusive experiences in the Middle East. These itineraries will commence during the winter season of 2018, with each itinerary incorporating calls into cities including Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The first of 13 seven-night ‘Dubai and the Legends of Arabia’ itineraries will depart out of Dubai on December 8th 2018, with cruisers travelling aboard Horizon. Cruisers will be able to enjoy an overnight stay in this iconic city before travelling to destinations that include Abu Dhabi, Fujairah, and the Omani cities of Khasab and Muscat.
In addition to these exciting new sailings, Pullmantur will also operate two sailings that connect the Middle East with the Eastern Mediterranean. You will have the opportunity to embark on one of two ‘Red and Arabian Seas’ itineraries. Over the course of either 15 or 16 nights, you will sail out of the Greek capital of Athens towards Dubai or vice versa and enjoy calls into the Egyptian ports of Alexandria and Port Said. There will also be a chance to visit the Jordanian port of Aqaba, which provides access to Petra – one of the seven modern wonders of the world.
Speaking at an event in Madrid on Sunday evening, Richard J. Vogel, President & CEO of Pullmantur Cruises, said: “[These routes have been] designed down to the very last detail, to ensure passengers are fascinated by this oasis of contrasts, with the reassurance of knowing they will enjoy a fully Spanish environment. It has all the ingredients to be a big success.”
While Horizon looks set to operate these new itineraries, the line’s other ships will be deployed in other regions around the world during the winter period. Zenith will operate itineraries in the Canary Islands, while Monarch and Sovereign will both be deployed around the Americas. The former will operate Caribbean sailings, while the latter will take passengers on tours of South America.
Further details of the itineraries and prices will be confirmed and unveiled on our website in due course. In the meantime, Pullmantur Cruises can offer fantastic value cruising experiences to a range of destinations over the winter period including the Canary Islands and the Caribbean.
