Relax on the beaches of the Caribbean and sail back to Europe
For many, a cruise may seem too short. Often, by the time you get a feel for your ship and get used to the all-inclusive on board nature, the time comes to disembark your ship and head home. Luckily Pullmantur Cruises have a perfect option available in 2017, which will enable you to enjoy your cruise for a little longer.
The Caribbean and Europe Cruise itinerary enables you to enjoy the delights of the Caribbean, soaking up the sun on some of the world’s finest beaches. After a week on board the ship, you will then traverse the Atlantic Ocean before arriving in Europe – completely removing the need to fly home. So, rather than spending seven nights sailing around the Caribbean before heading home – you will get to spend a total of 16 nights on board and also enjoy the delights of Europe. Pullmantur Cruises takes a closer look at this very special itinerary, which is set to depart on the 9th May 2017.
Your first port of call is Costa Rica’s eastern coast city of Puerto Limon, which offers a fine blend of clean beaches and forests, which provide a home for a range of indigenous flora and fauna. From natural wonders to man-made wonders, your next port of call is the Panamanian city of Colon, which sits at the Atlantic entrance to the Panama Canal. A short journey in an easterly direction will take you to the charming Colombian city of Cartagena, which is renowned for its old town. After spending two full days at sea, you will arrive at the islands St Maarten and Antigua – both of which are highly renowned for their pristine white-sand beaches.
After enjoying the calm and relaxing environment of the Caribbean, you will embark on an eight-night journey across the Atlantic Ocean. With nothing to see but the sea itself for eight whole days, now is a good time to take advantage of the ship’s facilities. Monarch has a range of amenities that are certain to keep you and your loved ones entertained. If you are looking to burn a little energy or simply maintain fitness goals, you will be glad to know that the ship features an on board gym, as well as a jogging track, basketball court, two pools, and a rock climbing wall. If you would rather remain within the confines of the interior decks, there are: duty-free shops, a wide range of bars and lounges, a library, an arcade and a casino available to enjoy during your cruise.
Eight days after departing the Caribbean and crossing the Atlantic Ocean, you will finally catch your first glimpse of land. Madeira is a beautiful lush green island that is home to a plethora of botanical gardens and a range of beautiful palaces and religious buildings. The next stop after Madeira is the Portuguese capital of Lisbon – a city bustling full of culture, architecture, wine, history and much more.
Throughout the duration of this epic 16-night cruise, you will be able to enjoy an all-inclusive on board atmosphere. This means that all meals, drinks, port taxes, overseas flights and much more are all included in the cost of your cruise. There are no hidden charges.
